‘Highlight’ to hit screens in fall

Long awaited Iranian film ‘Highlight’ has been scheduled for screening in the fall.

In a recent interview on the latest status of the film, producer Sasan Salour said that although there has not been an exact date set for screening, the film will most likely be screened in either September or October.

Directed by Asghar Naeemi, ‘Highlight’ was a contender at the 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival.

A brief synopsis for the romantic-drama reads, “A car accident brings people face to face with each other. Caring for the injured and waiting for them to regain consciousness is a long and painful wait...”

Pejman Bazeghi from ‘Passing through the Hardships’, Azadeh Zarei from the hit series ‘The Sound of Rain’, and ‘A Passenger to Rey’ star Jamshid Hashempour will be accompanied by Sam Gharibian, Mina Vahid, and Elaheh Hesari to make up the film’s main cast.
